Got Your Back (SOKONG! Publish, 2024)

Got Your Back is a series of back portraits that Aziziah Diah Aprilya worked on from 2021 to 2024. Using a cell phone camera, Zizi records the forms of human backs that mentally correlate with various conditions of places and landscapes.

In photographing the backs of people who are facing and experiencing something, Zizi shared reflections on the place of home, generations, changes, burdens and relationships around them.
