Ujung Pandang depicts the landscape of life on small islands around South Sulawesi, Indonesia. These islands are currently threatened by coastal reclamation, abrasion, climate change, and and waste pollution flowing from the city around them.
For this story, I also created portraits of island residents using the emulsion lift technique to evoke a sense of fragility and uncertainty, reflecting the vulnerable conditions they face.
